Differences Of The Three Sets Of Bond Keyplates
Hopefully some of you find this helpful, Susan did make a video a while ago talking about the dot keyplates and the original keyplates, but there is another set she maybe did not know or forgot to mention.
Hi! Do you know what happened with Susan?? Her blog has been deleted. Thx
ReplyDeleteHi Sheryl, yes, she closed her blog down because of personal problems, but could well be back up at some point in the future, she says it is all on back up so it is not completely lost.
ReplyDeleteAgain, same goes with YouTube, she closed that to, but, sher re uploaded them onto vimeo.
Here is the link: http://vimeo.com/machineknitting
you may need to copy and paste that link into the top search bar, as it doesn't come up as a "clickable" link.
Hope this helps,
Alex.
That s so sad. I feel so bad for her. I hope things work out & she gets back to knitting, & blogging. Sheryl
ReplyDeleteHello ive seen you compare the old and the new carriage in the bond machines I iwn a usm but.got an old.bond classic.carriage when.i.bought some stuff c ri m ebay the old carriage runs much smootherover the bed cimpared ti the usm carriage which can be hard to get acoss whats your experience ? Sorry for unccomprehendible soelling, due to these impossible smartphones with tiuchscreen regards johan w
ReplyDeleteHi sorry I have not replied, I failed to see your comment, so my bad!
ReplyDeleteI really like the simplisity of the USM carriage but I can't stand how "giggily" and "scrapey" sounding it is on the bed so I stick to the older more smother Bond carriage, I have also found the older carriage doesn't jam as much as the newer USM carriage.
Hope this helps, Johan, I know what you mean about the smart phones they can be a right pain sometimes.
Alex.
