Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween, everything is so spooky and haunted. I hope you have got up your Halloween decorations?
I have been carving a small pumpkin today, with my nephew, Oskar, he really enjoyed it, he couldn't really do much, I had to do the cutting, but he scooped out the horrible mushy stuff and helped me draw the face.
I also bought a bigger one for me to do, I always have to carv a pumpkin, I don't think I will ever will stop buying one to every year, even when I am much older, lol, always a kid at heart.

Hope you all get lot's of little trick or treaters, I know I will never sit down with keep getting up and answering the door!

Happy Halloween!

My "New" BOND Incredible Sweater Machine!

Yesterday evening I went to collect this Incredible Sweater Machine from a wonderful seller on eBay.
I from looking at the picture on the eBay listing of the machine, it made the whole thing look a bit mediocre, so was not sure what to expect when I received it.
She opened the box and told me everything was there on the parts list, so I paid her the money and off I went.
When I got it hope and had a real good look at the machine it was like brand new, very little signs of use, in fact, the tools in the accessories box were still in there little plastic packets!

Well, I won't keep ranting about it, I will show you the pictures as I am sure you are looking forward to seeing what it looks like, so here they are.

As you can see here is the front of the box.

Here is inside the box, by the way, I had cleaned it and put it all back how it should of been, as it was not in the box correctly when I first opened it.

Inside the accessories box, again, I rearranged this box to how it should be, notice the original plastic bags for the keyplates and tools!

Here is the machine set up.

I show it a bit closer up, here you see the left.

                                                    Now the right side.

Here is all the original paper work, I will make this picture bigger than the others so you can see what they are a little better. Notice the original warranty card!!

Well there it is anyway, Hope to do a few projects on it very soon, well, when I have finished Oskars hooded jacket.

Left Front Finished And Some News

I have got the left front finished, it took me a bit longer to knit this than it did the back as I had not been as motivated last week.
I left it a week with just the rib and 8 rows of the pattern complete then yesterday and the day before I knitted like mad and got it finished so here it is.

In other news, I have bought another Bond (I do really love the Bond Machines!) It is an Incredible Sweater Machine and I go and pick it up today, from Blackpool, about an hour from me so is not too far, so that is something to look forward too.
I also finally found some ribber clamps for my Knitmaster 155 chunky ribber.
I was browsing eBay as I normally do and saw a listing that read "Knitmaster Knitting Machine Chunky SR155 Ribber Clamps" I did not believe what I was seeing.
The clamps were on for buy it now £20 and I did not wait a second longer to buy them.
I have been searching for these clamps for nearly a year now, so I can finally use my chucky ribber, set up correctly, I can now get ribbing!!!

A Hand Knit Project

Hello everyone, I guss I should start by telling you were I have been hiding again, I actually have not been any where, just have not had time to post on the blog, but I have been checking updates.

I went yarn shopping today at Hobby Craft and I was looking threw the childrens patterns, because I decided I wanted to hand knit something, but nothing too big that I would get bored with quickly.
I found this cute pattern that was knitted in two types of cable stitches, for either a V neck, shawl collar or hooded jacket that ranged in size from birth to six years.

I picked  up the pattern and then went searching for the yarn to complete the project. The pattern asked for Sirdar Snuggly double knitting, I found it in an eray of colours and I picked it in a lovely pale lime green colour (shade 0403).
When I looked at the price per ball, it said £3.29 which I thought was a bit pricey for a 50 gram ball, then I looked again and it said 3 for 2 so I thought, oh that's good. I bought six balls plus the pattern and it came to £16.15 which is a bargin I think, well from Hooby Craft at least...

Here is a picture of the pattern and yarn, I will be knitting the hodded jacket.
I will post updates of it as and when I knit the garment pieces.
