Nice to see you have been knitting again Alex - wondered where you had gone. Re the 150 ribber, i would love to know too if it would fit the 155 - i dont see why not, allthough are the 150 and 155 machines the same width?
thats what i was thinking too, the other i was thinking was with the knitmaster 150 being manual patterning would the 150 ribber do the ribber punch card stitches?
Ye you are right - but ive always wanted to know does the punchcard have anyway of telling the ribber what to do? Does it not just select on the main bed?
I dont know how it could though - ive just looked at my machine and the only place the main bed connects to the ribber is a. where the brackets are and b. at the ribber arm/ribber sinker plate - but that joining piece of metal will hardly be anything that selects needles?

ReplyDeleteI think that it does select on the main bed but i'm sure some patterns select ribber needles.
