A Hand Knit Project
Hello everyone, I guss I should start by telling you were I have been hiding again, I actually have not been any where, just have not had time to post on the blog, but I have been checking updates.
I went yarn shopping today at Hobby Craft and I was looking threw the childrens patterns, because I decided I wanted to hand knit something, but nothing too big that I would get bored with quickly.
I found this cute pattern that was knitted in two types of cable stitches, for either a V neck, shawl collar or hooded jacket that ranged in size from birth to six years.
I picked up the pattern and then went searching for the yarn to complete the project. The pattern asked for Sirdar Snuggly double knitting, I found it in an eray of colours and I picked it in a lovely pale lime green colour (shade 0403).
When I looked at the price per ball, it said £3.29 which I thought was a bit pricey for a 50 gram ball, then I looked again and it said 3 for 2 so I thought, oh that's good. I bought six balls plus the pattern and it came to £16.15 which is a bargin I think, well from Hooby Craft at least...
Here is a picture of the pattern and yarn, I will be knitting the hodded jacket.
I will post updates of it as and when I knit the garment pieces.
Talk to you later,
Alex.
